New federal guidelines, known as HIPAA, require us to give our patients written notice about how we're using their medical information.Our patients are given a copy of our HIPAA Privacy Policy and asked to sign a form acknowledging the receipt of this notice. These new guidelines are designed to protect the patient's medical information.
