Scheduling an Appointment - Cardiovascular Associates, P.C.

For your convenience, CVA has twelve locations to better serve you. Our offices are located at Brookwood Medical Center (including our Women's CardioVascular Center) and Trinity Medical Center in Birmingham; Shelby Baptist Medical Center in Alabaster, Alabama; Coosa Valley Medical Center in Sylacauga, Alabama; and Citizens Baptist Medical Center in Talladega, Alabama. Our cardiologists also see patients at several outreach locations, including ACIPCO Medical Group in Birmingham, St. Vincent's Blount in Oneonta, St. Vincent's St. Clair in Pell City, Alabama, Clanton, and Fultondale.

To schedule an appointment, you may contact any of our offices. Our regular office hours are 8:00 A.M. until 5:00 P.M.

When calling the office about a non-medical question or problem (such as insurance or billing), please do not ask for the physician, since our office staff is better informed about such matters.

All emergency cases will be treated immediately. Please follow the procedure below:

For emergencies that occur during regular office hours, please call our office. Our staff will give you instructions to follow.


  • After hours and on weekends, call our office and give your name and phone number to our answering service. Your call will be returned by the physician on call at that time.
  • If you have prolonged chest pain not relieved by taking three nitroglycerin tablets at five-minute intervals, go directly with someone to the nearest hospital and have an emergency room physician examine you, or call 911. The E.R. physician will then notify your doctor.

Since we rotate coverage after hours and on weekends, there is a possibility that you may talk with and be treated by someone other than the physician to whom you are accustomed. Please remember that all of our physicians are highly qualified and intent on your well being.
